    Vernon 6th Graders Know Their Way Around

     

    For the first time, Vernon 6th graders took part in the National Geographic Bee during their Social Studies classes on January 23rd and 24th.  Each student took a 35-question assessment provided by National Geographic.  The students with the highest score in each homeroom were considered the “classroom winners.”  They and the next top five scorers took part in the Vernon School finals on Friday, January 27th at 3:00 pm in the Vernon cafeteria.  Parents and family members of...

    National Honor Society Inducts Exceptional New Members

     

    On Tuesday, January 31, 2017, the Oyster Bay High School chapter of the National Honor Society inducted new members in a beautiful candle lit ceremony in the high school performing arts center.
