Mr. Fox teaches Honors chemistry, Regents chemistry, and 8th grade science at Oyster Bay High School. He received his Bachelor’s of Science from Long Island University, C.W. Post where he majored in Forensic Science and minored in chemistry. Mr. Fox pursued his master’s degree in adolescent chemistry education while working for an analytical environmental chemistry lab. Mr. Fox is an adjunct faculty member at Long Island University - C.W. Post, where he teaches a Forensic Science Laboratory course. Mr. Fox has served as a class advisor for the past 3 years, and has coached middle school lacrosse and varsity golf.
Prior to becoming a teacher, Mr. Fox spent performed as an orchestral clarinetist. He participated in the Juilliard pre-college program, and studied at the Cleveland Institute of Music with Franklin Cohen, the former principal clarinetist of the Cleveland Orchestra. In 2013, Mr. Fox performed the Weber Clarinet Concertino with the Oyster Bay High School Wind Ensemble under the direction of Mr. Sisia. (link below)
