Pat Murray is the STEM teacher at James H Vernon for grades 3 and 4. She also teacher in the new Makerspace room at Vernon where students are encouraged to make, tinker, create and explore. Ms. Murray received her Bachelor’s Degree at SUNY Old Westbury. She has a Master’s Degree in Multicultural and Urban Education from the College of Mount St. Vincent. She has been teaching for 24 years. Ms. Murray has been in Oyster Bay teaching for 18 years and has taught at Theodore Roosevelt and James H Vernon. She is excited to work with her students and finds it extremely rewarding to foster lifelong learners and problem solvers.
