Michael Tweed – Director

Mr. Tweed grew up in a small town in northern Minnesota which still today has only one stop light.  He graduated from Bemidji State University with a degree in Social Studies and Secondary Education.  After teaching for three years, he attended graduate school at St. Cloud State University where he graduated with a Masters degree in Counselor Education and Educational Psychology with minors in School Counseling and College Student Development.  Since that time, Mr. Tweed has worked as an elementary and high School Counselor as well as a Dean of Students.  After graduating with his administrative license from the University of Minnesota, Mr. Tweed worked at Locust Valley High School as a counselor prior to being hired at Oyster Bay in 2008.  Mr. Tweed enjoys traveling, scuba diving, all sports, playing with his nieces/nephews, Dunkin Doughnuts coffee, Broadway musicals, and knowing useless facts about the state of Minnesota.

Danielle Accetta

Ms. Accetta grew up in Oyster Bay and attended Oyster Bay High School.  After graduating from OBHS, she attended the University of Massachusetts at Amherst receiving at Bachelor of Science degree in Sociology.  She continued on to graduate school at Long Island University, CW Post graduating with a Masters of Science degree in School Counseling.  Ms. Accetta was hired as a leave replacement at Massapequa high school and right afterward she was hired at Oyster Bay in 2003.  Ms. Accetta enjoys going to the movies, concerts, Broadway plays, reading when she has the time and going on long walks with her dog Riley, the love of her life.

Deanna Cali

After growing up in East Islip, Ms. Cali attended University of Scranton for her undergraduate degree and Fordham University for graduate school. It should be noted that Ms. Cali played rugby in college as well as graduate school.   Upon graduation with a master’s degree, Ms. Cali obtained a position with the University of Miami, where she served as a teacher/family counselor.  After 2 years she took a position as a School Counselor and was promoted to Assistant to the Principal of the City of Pembroke Pines Charter School.  When she returned to New York, Ms. Cali began working at Oyster Bay in 2003.  She enjoys traveling, getting together with friends for sushi or to discuss books and TV shows such as “Grey’s Anatomy”, “Oprah” and “Army Wives”.  One day, Ms. Cali hopes to learn a second language. 

Lisa Lowe

Ms. Lowe grew up in Centerport where she attended Harborfields High School in Greenlawn.  She then attended SUNY Oneonta where she received a bachelor’s degree in Sociology and Psychology.  Ms. Lowe received her Masters degree in School Counseling from Long Island University, CW POST in 1999.  She began working at Oyster Bay High School in 1999.  Ms. Lowe loves to travel with her husband and two children as well as cook, spend time outdoors, and kick box.
