The Oyster Bay-East Norwich Central School District has
been conducting a Pre-Kindergarten Program under the authority, and with
the permission of the New York State Education Department for many
years. Eligibility Information: The State has established special guidelines for admission and reimburses our school district for expenses in connection with the program. Eligibility is initially determined based on income, other State criteria, and parent interviews. Income eligibility will be determined after all applications are in. All income information provided is confidential. Please be advised that not all children who apply will be automatically accepted, since enrollment is limited. If you have a child who will be four years old on or before December 1, he or she may be eligible for this tuition-free program. We are encouraging all four year-olds to apply.
