Decision Day: The Class of 2026 Has Spoken
Friday, May 1 marked the finish line of a very long marathon for Oyster Bay High School's seniors. After years of diligent study, campus visits, essay writing, late nights and more than a little nail-biting, it was finally time to exhale. Decision Day had arrived.
Seniors came dressed in the colors of the colleges, military branches, trade schools and careers they'll be joining this fall. After a class photo on the terrazzo, students spilled onto the walkway in front of the high school, chalk in hand, gleefully decorating it with names, logos and team mascots that show where the Class of 2026 is headed.
The mood was exactly what four years of hard work deserves: joyful, relieved, and proud.
We congratulate every member of the Class of 2026 on their accomplishments and extend our deepest thanks to our counseling team, whose steady guidance helped shepherd students through every twist and turn of this process. The path wasn't always easy… but look where it led!
