On June 8th, Division II Jazz Band auditions were held at Woodland MS in East Meadow, opening the floor to talented students from across Nassau County. Out of everyone auditioning for the entering 5th and 6th-grade spots, Henri and Zachary absolutely crushed it—securing two of the only four open trombone spots in the prestigious Elementary All-County Jazz Ensemble!

A special thank you goes out to their jazz band teacher, Mr. Devassy, for his dedication and mentorship, and for preparing them for this audition and experience.
