Oyster Bay-East Norwich CSD is pleased to announce that Oyster Bay High School has been named a 2025-26 School of Distinction by the New York State Public High School Athletic Association (NYSPHSAA).

The honor recognizes high schools that demonstrate a strong commitment to academic achievement among their student-athletes. To qualify, 100% of a school’s varsity teams must earn Scholar-Athlete Team status. A team earns the Scholar-Athlete designation when the average grade point average of the top 75% of its roster is at least 90%.

The district congratulates its student-athletes on their dedication to excellence both in the classroom and on the field.
