Although stormy weather forced the postponement of several homecoming festivities, including the football game and parade, OBMHS spirit could not be dampened. The homecoming pep rally went on as scheduled, bringing students together in the gymnasium filled with energy, school pride and plenty of noise.

With this year’s theme of “Cities,” each class took the floor for a lip sync performance featuring choreography, costumes and props inspired by its chosen city. The seniors took top honors with a high-energy performance celebrating New York City. They will bring the winning performance to the field at halftime of the final home football game on Saturday, Oct. 31.

The rally also recognized all the JV and varsity athletic teams, giving students an opportunity to celebrate their classmates and teammates. Following enthusiastic cheers for the football team, the Homecoming Court was announced.
