A procession of pharaohs, mummies, and royalty welcomed parents to the James H. Vernon School gym this past Friday. The sixth-grade students showcased their Ancient Civilizations projects to family and friends, marking the culmination of weeks of in-depth study and individual research.

The gym was filled with an impressive array of projects, including sugar cube pyramids, intricate handmade jewelry and ceramics, and an entertaining video presentation. As parents mingled, students provided brief descriptions of their projects and answered questions.

This event was a fun and educational conclusion to the school year, leaving everyone impressed and informed.
